Devlog 2: v0.1 Progress

I am writing this devlog post to give updates on my progress for the v0.1.0 update. First, I want to apologize for the lack of updates on this game. I have not gotten the chance to work on this game or my other games that much for the last month or two. The reason for this is because I have been busy during the holidays. Especially during the Christmas season. I know a lot of people will be spending some time with their families and friends during Christmas which I understand as I am doing the same which explains the lack of progress and updates to this game and my other projects.

Anyways, with the story over with, time for me to explain some progress I have made since the v0.0.3 release. Right now, I have 2 big things I have to say. First, I am working on my own custom backrooms map. Instead of just 2 basic test maps, I got a themed map which is a backrooms map. The walls may be made out of wood since this is the best material provided by Unreal Engine but hey, at least it is better then bland test maps. The second thing I want to say is that during my search for new Five Nights at Freddy's models to use, I found some new and fresh models by someone on DeviantArt that I might be able to use for my game. They probably will not be in the v0.1 release but I may add some of these new models in the v0.2 release.

Here is the account in question that has the models I may use for this game: https://www.deviantart.com/ubuntutu/gallery

I already downloaded some of the models but didn't inspect them yet but if I can get them to work in Unreal Engine 4, I might use some of the models in this game since this is not sketchfab where I got the other Five Nights at Freddy's character models from. With these models, I might make my own Five Nights at Freddy's location map. It could be a concept and idea for a new game where you surive a night at a location and you free roam the place but this is a project for another time.

Once the Christmas season is over, I will go back to working on the game and my other projects.

Thank you for reading and hope you all have or had a great and safe Christmas (depending on when you read this).
